Concert: Music From My Galaxy

It's a show for the drummer in all of us!  Audiences have enjoyed  the eclectic blend of percussion instruments and musical styles of Mark Shelton's solo concerts for three decades. There's no percussion soloist like Mark Shelton and there's no percussion show like Music From My Galaxy.  The one-man concert can include performances on marimba, hammered dulcimer, handpan, bodhran, rhythm bones, cajon, and electronic percussion.  Original compositions, arrangements, and improvisations by Mark draw from his experiences in classical, jazz, folk, and popular music.  The high energy performances are balanced with a good dose of anecdotes from Mark's rural West Tennessee roots and his years as a freelance musician.
